Cotto vs Pacquiao fight on November 14, will surely prove to be a very exciting boxing bout to watch. The two fighters are almost even in terms of assets - for Cotto it is his strength while for Pacquiao it will be his speed. The fight is just too unpredictable that even Bob Arum, promoter of both fighters under Top Rank promotion honestly believe that this fight will be a classic boxing match.


Cotto will be fighting with 34 wins and 1 defeat with 27 KO's. On the other hand, Pacquiao has a record of 49 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws with 37 KO's. In terms of age, Cotto is younger at 28 years old while Pacquiao will be 30 years old during fight time which would put Cotto at an advantage.


Their recent records, however, would show that Pacquiao will have a more positive attitude in winning the fight considering his strings of three recent successes in fighting formidable oppenents in three different divisions namely lightweight David Diaz, welterweight Golden Boy Oscar de la Hoya and light-welterweight Ricky Hatton.


On the other hand, Cotto suffered his first ever loss just recently and his latest fight with Ghanaian fighter Joshua Clottey was a close call for Cotto who suffered a first round knock down but was still able to eke out a split-decision win at Madison Square Garden where the bout was held.


Both fighters are now busy training for the fight. Cotto at his training camp in Puerto Rico and Pacquiao at his highly elevated training grounds in Baguio City, Philippines. With both fighters having their individual abilities with Cotto relying on his strength and Pacquiao on his speed, the coming November 14, 2009 will be another great boxing match to watch.
