My Pinoy US friends' favorite TV series are very much varied. A friend of mine from the Visayas who is now working as a dishwasher in one of the chinese restaurants in Houston, told me through e-mail that he still goes for his hero since our childhood days in Ungka Jaro, Superman. He told me to watch Smallville which is also replayed in the Philippines.
A distant relative of mine who was lucky to work as a baby sitter for an American couple in a remote town in Ohio told me also through e-mail that she and the couple she works for would usually sit together in front of the TV every Thursday night to watch Vampire Diaries which is the favorite TV series of the couple. Monday nights would find her and the teenage daughter of the couple sitting in front of the TV to watch Gossip Girl, which happens to be the daughter's favorite.
Another friend of mine who was just laid off from his work in a gas station e-mailed me his predicament. However, he said that anytime business will perk up, he will again be recalled to his work. Meanwhile, he spends his time watching TV. He told me that he watch Flashforward every Thursday which is his favorite TV series. Well friends, these are the favorite TV series of my Pinoy US friends.
