Kung Fu Panda 2 is directed by Yuh Nelson and produced by Guillermo del Toro. The original cast will still be intact with some new characters added. Fung Fu Panda 2 is set to be released on May 26, 2011. The title has seen two revisions already, before it was finally decided to be just Kung Fu Panda 2.
Jack Black announced a Kung Fu Panda sequel in the 2009 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards. The rest in the first film's cast would still include Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, Donald Cross and James Hong were expected to have repeat roles. Fresh cast members include Victor Garber, Michelle Yeoh, Gary Oldman, and Dennis Haysbert, in addition to Jean-Claude Van Damme. Wow! What a cast of voices galore.
