This is the synopsis of Criminal Minds season 6 episode 18 - As Prentiss faces off against Ian Doyle, JJ receives a call and returns to help the BAU find Prentiss and capture Doyle before it's too late. Prentiss is stabbed by Doyle and he takes off. The team finds her quickly and rushes her to a hospital, where JJ announces she didn't make it and died. It is later revealed that Prentiss survived, where she changed her appearance and disappeared to Paris, where JJ gives her fake passports and bank accounts. The rest of the BAU team still believes Prentiss is dead, except for Hotchner and JJ who know the truth.
